Do You eBay?
Right From The Heart is now registered with eBay as a certified Charitable Organization. What does this mean? It means that if you are selling an item on eBay, you can designate a percentage (up to 100%) of the proceeds from the sale of that item go to Right From The Heart as a charitable donation. This is a great way to get rid of “stuff” that you don’t use, benefit the ministry with a donation, AND get a tax credit. An organization called Mission Fish, manages this program for eBay, and they will ensure that you get tax credit for your donation.
It’s EASY...log into eBay, (www.ebay.com), put your cursor on the “Sell” tab at the top of the page, and a drop-down menu appears. At the bottom of that menu, it says “Sell For Charity”, click that!
The next page is “Six Easy Steps To Selling” and step one is “Find your favorite non-profit in our directory”... click that! Type “Right From The Heart Ministries” into the search box and click on the “Search” button. When Right From The Heart Ministries shows up in the search results, click on the “View” button. A list of items currently for sale to benefit the ministry will appear along with a “Sell Now” button, which will take you to a description of how the sell for charity program works and also gives you another “Sell Now” button. Click on this “Sell Now” and you will enter the regular process for listing an item for sale on eBay. Give it a try...it’s FUN!
Please consider designating Right From The Heart as a recipient of a donation from the proceeds of items you may sell on eBay.
India Ministry Update
In March, we had a chance to meet with our partner in India, Dr. Narendra Singh when he was in the U.S. attending a Global Missions Conference. It was exciting to hear how Right From The Heart’s radio broadcasts in India have been impacting people across that vast country. We’ve been partnering with Dr. Singh since 1998, broadcasting on The Bible Voice Radio network many of Bryant’s messages that have been translated into Hindi. Narendra has also translated Bryant’s book, One Minute Of Your Time into Hindi. This is the first 365-day devotional book available in Hindi! Narendra’s Rajasthan Bible Institute has trained hundreds of pastors and planted hundreds of churches throughout remote areas of India. Using our material and his presence in India allows Nar- endra to reach literally millions of people every day, via our radio broadcasts. These
broadcasts have become an important part of “reaching and discipling” the people of India, where there is little or no local church body.
We also have an opportunity to start broadcasting Narendra’s teaching programs on a regional television station, three times per week in Jaipur, India, where Dr. Singh’s Bible Institute and his home church are located. This is a very exciting opportunity to reach millions of people each week with the message of Jesus. Please be in prayer for these broadcasts, for their effectiveness, for the continued safety of Narendra, his wife Pinky and their family, as television exposure will surely increase his visibility and potential for persecution.
Seeds of Turmoil Translated into Spanish
Bryant’s recent book, Seeds of Turmoil, has been translated into Spanish (Semillas de Conflicto) and becomes available at amazon.com and other book stores in April. We hope this explanation of the historical and biblical basis for the conflicts that have plagued the Middle East for thousands of years will be as popular in Spanish-speaking cultures as it has been in English. The English version of the book is available at our web store, as well as amazon. com and other book stores nationwide.
New Book: Right from the Heart
NEW Bryant’s newest book, Right from the Heart will be published in August 2011, by Thomas Nelson Publishers. It is a compilation of 365 of Bryant’s favorite devotions. This beautifully bound book makes a great gift and will be available at most book stores, as well as amazon.com, other online retailers, and at our web store.
We Need Your Prayers
Prayer requests from our RFTH partners.
From Narendra in India: Please pray for 15 families who were bapitized in Jaipur in Novem- ber 2010. All of them are from non-Christian backgrounds and 13 of them have come to the Lord through our radio broadcasts. They are facing some opposition and discrimination from their families and friends. One has also lost his job.
From Ricardo in South Texas/Mexico: We are in the process of building a new church facility at San Isidro Baptist Church and are asking our church family to fast, pray, and read their Bibles regularly so that God will bless us with everything we need to build His church. Please pray with us!
From Wojtek in Poland: We have seen the hand of God work in miraculous ways as He has cleared the way for us to air Christian radio spots on rock and roll stations. He has given the predominately Catholic leadership the grace to work with us in many ways. Please continue to pray for us as we carry the Word of God to the people of Poland who are so badly in need of a Savior.
From Wolfgang in Germany: We are beginning work with RFTH to create a new German website, as well as a Facebook page directed at the German people. Please pray that all technicalities go smoothly and that God is glorified!
Finish the Work Assigned
...telling others about the Good News....
The apostle Paul, speaking to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:24, makes one of the most challenging statements in the New Testament: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the Good News about the won- derful grace of God.” He goes on to boldly declare that ...”I have been faithful. If anyone suffers eternal death, it’s not my fault.” (NLT)
Just before leaving the Ephesians, Paul further encourages them to action with these parting words: “And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.” Acts 20:26 (NLT)
Because of the generosity of our supporters, Right From The Heart is able to carry the message of Jesus Christ and His grace to people around the world. We have been en- trusted with the message of the Gospel, and I hope you will partner with us in our efforts to share the Good News. My prayer is we will all finish the work assigned!
