Life's Most Important Question
"Pilate said to them, 'Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?'" - Matthew 27:22
Almost 2,000 years ago, a man named Pilate asked the most important question in life. Standing before him was an itinerant preacher. There was nothing remarkable about His looks. He had attracted a large following, but had few committed followers. He had no wealth, not even a home of His own. Yet He was the object of unmitigated hatred from a mob. Pilate asked, "What shall I do with this man?" As the mob cried for His execution, the man, Jesus Christ, stood silently as Pilate cowardly sentenced Him to death on the cross.
The question Pilate asked is ultimately one all of us have to ask: "What shall I do with this man Jesus?"
He loves you, even when you couldn't care less about Him. He cared enough to pay the penalty for your sin. What will you do with Jesus? Your eternal destiny hangs in the balance by how you respond.

On that day when the people cried out to give us Barabas it was not right but it was the will of God for Christ to die for our sins. The sad part today, is that people is still rejecting Christ and longing for a substitute. When we should be reading our Bible, instead we turn on the tv, we still cry out to give me something else instead of him. We all are guilty of this but still He loves us in spite of our faults. I am so thankful he saw my need instead of my guilt. God bless all. - Jerry
Pilate chose to do the wrong thing with Jesus yet God used his part in the events leading to the cross to ultimately bring good out of evil. It is amazing how our God can do that. What do I do with Jesus? I try to know Him more and more each day, I give my heart to Him, I praise and worship Him, I try to follow in His ways and I try to be obedient to His words in the Bible. He deserves no less.
I am wondering if any of the regular readers of this site have any plans for the National Day of Prayer? There is an online prayer rally through the Presidential Prayer Team (www.presidentialprayerteam.org) in case anyone is looking for an activity. God bless you. - Janice
