The Most Difficult Job
"Behold, children are a gift from the Lord..." - Psalm 127:3
Have you ever considered what the most difficult job in life is?
It's the job of parenting; the challenge of guiding a child through the demands of growing up and helping that child become all he or she was created to be.
The Bible provides timeless insight. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." The way he should go means according to his bent. This means we have to be students of our children--learning to recognize their God-given abilities and interests. We're also to help our children develop their strengths, as well as curb and check their weaknesses.
Once we become students of our children and teach them right from wrong with a lot of prayer, the promise of God can be realized. The challenge is a great one, but the rewards of seeing our children become mature, productive adults makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Raising children is a hard job but it is the most enjoyable job we can have if we do it right. We need to remember our children didn't ask to be born, that was our own doing. Men in america who had a part in raising their own children need to instill in men who didn't help, just how much they can enjoy their children. Our children are our crown and the way they turn out is a direct reflection on us. My wife and I have raised three children of our own and have helped to raise several others, and I wouldnt take nothing for any of the memories. Now we have two grandchildren on the way and I am looking forward to being a Papa to both of them.

Yes... start it when they are young, even though they're in the mother's womb!
Once my friend, a bride to be, needed a urgent prayer for her non-believer father to walked her down the aisle. I shared with my 5 yrs old nephew, and told him that we have to trust God for this bride. So we pray together for this miracle to happen. On the wedding day, we attent the wedding. Praise God, my friend's father willing to walked her down on the day before the wedding! My nephew was so amazed God listened to his prayer... This has been an hightlight in his prayer life and He believes strongly God is powerful and He listens to prayers!
