Tick Tock Oct 28 2012

"...(the Lord) has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity." - 2 Timothy 1:9 NIV

Do you hear the clock ticking? Time keeps moving on. It never stops for anyone, no matter how important you are. We just can't find enough of that stuff. The late Jim Croce sang about bottling time. But one thing is for sure - God wants us to be good stewards of our time - but we'll never be able to until we're clear about our purpose for living. The starting point is knowing why we're here.

How, you might ask?

First, ask God to help you develop a life-purpose statement. It will take some time, but it's the best time you'll ever invest. Know why you're here. Second, decide each day what's most important for you to do that day, and do it. By having a clear purpose, and doing the most important thing each day, God can revolutionize your life and help you make the most of your time.

Oswald Writes: "His Silence is the Sign that He is bringing you(us)into a Marvellous understanding of Himself..."

See guys I lost my Purpose when Littleman went back to be with his Mom...People kept saying "Learn to take care of yourself for Once..." Couldn't Relate--Should Have. Should have followed that Advice.

Sometimes our Friends who Sit Silent for Days then give us good advice with respect to Holy Callings.

Sometimes it is Good to be Holy with Ourselves...Sometimes when we think it is all over and Nobody needs us any longer...We forget the Lord has Called Us for all of our Lives.

Just don't want any of you guys to make the Same Mistake.

I have an extremely rich friend who died recently. He was wearing a very expensive watch (the best money can buy). It didn't add one second to his life (my Timex won't either).

We only have so many ticks in our life. God wants for us to use them wisely.
