Impossible? Not With My Lord! Jun 07 2012
"...Jesus said, 'With men it is impossible, but not with God.'" - Mark 10:27
One of the greatest verses in the Bible is, "For nothing will be impossible with God." Do you believe it? It's what the angel told Mary, the mother of Jesus, when he announced that she would give birth to God's son as a virgin.
If you are facing a particularly tough challenge where you need strength and wisdom beyond yourself, will you believe nothing will be impossible with God?
If you are in a season of grief and not sure you can make it, will you believe nothing will be impossible with God?
If you are facing discouragement, disappointment, depression, or despair, will you believe nothing will be impossible with God?
If you are struggling in your family, will you believe nothing will be impossible with God?
Mary did and because she did, Jesus came to be our savior. He died and rose, conquering sin and death for you and me. The story of Jesus reminds us of how nothing will be impossible with God.

Yes, report it NevermindI also want to believe n trust that nothing is impossible for the the Jesus God.
However for 40+ years all my trust b believe brings only dissapointment after dissapointment until my faith is bombarded to ground zero.
Can only restore my faith in the Jesus God again when He answers my prayer request.

Dr. Stanley would say over and over again: "God is not primarily concerned with your Ease, Comfort and Pleasure..."
Look: I am on Ground Zero. Everything I have accomplished in life has gone to other People and their Barns are Full!
Mine are Empty...But the kids are doing OK and I don't have some Unhappy Gal in the House picking at me every Three Seconds. Until she sends me the next Nasty Email...which I think are finally finished.
Well, Mary had many people who wanted to Throw her Under the Bus...But she held firm to The Vision. But then the Lord spoke to Joseph...Joseph needed a word from the Lord as well.
Now they both Suffered...

Yes, report it NevermindNG- as the saying goes- "Being happy doesn't mean you HAVE IT All. It means being thankful to the Lord for ALL YOU DO HAVE."

Yes, report it Nevermind... I have pain and I have sorrow, most of my life has been one dissapointment after another, but what's worse is that I realized after much reflection that I made all those decisions myself. God did not make them for me. I made-up my mind and did it. Now how can I honestly expect God to hear my prayers when all the while I handled things on my own? I can only hope that He restores my life and in humility ask for forgiveness. I have no right to demand for an answer when I brought this on upon myself. I must hold firm to the belief that He hears me and the countless times that I know He has answered me...

Yes, report it NevermindIt's amazing how God provides when you least expect it! I'm going on a mission trip to Russia at the end of the month, and I've done the hard yards to get the money, but God has given me the right people at the right time!
ND - just remember God isn't a genie, sometimes he says wait... I've learnt this the hard way.

Yes, report it NevermindNG - Thank you for starting this dialog. We have all felt what you feel at one time or another. I don't know your details, but it sounds like you have experienced a lot of pain and disappointment.
Each of us is unique. The Apostle said that God's fire was "a refining fire". To one extent or another, each follower of Jesus will be refined and the dross will be burned away. That is painful, but when you do that with the right "ore" you end up with "pure gold".
My prayer is that God will give me the strength and wisdom each day to do all that I can to please Him. The only way I can do that is to stay in continuous contact with Him, in Jesus, through the Spirit.
May God bless your efforts, and answer your prayers.

Yes, report it NevermindTo NG, friend I have been I your shoes before. I was in a lot of pain but I learned to not worry but trust the Lord. Most of the times, we place to much emphasis on the gifts rather than the giver. Hang on there and trust in God. Amen.
