"...you fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?" - Luke 12:20
Jesus Christ tells of someone who acted like a huge fool. "A certain rich man was very productive and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do since I have no place to store all that I have?' He decided to tear down his barns and build larger ones and then store all his grain and goods. Then he said, 'I have many goods laid up for years to come; now I'll take it easy and eat, drink, and be merry!'"
"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life is required of you and now who will own all that you have?' So is the man who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
Question: When are you going to pause long enough from pursuing bigger barns and dreaming of how to fill them up, to start thinking about your soul? All that counts is "Do you know God?" and "What have you done for God and your fellow man?" Quit acting foolish and get things right with God through Jesus Christ. And do it today!

I get this email this morning: "This is all we have in your College Account..." Now these are people with Boats on Lakes knowing full-well what I set aside for both the Kids.

Yes, report it NevermindPraise the Lord! I heard someone say the two greatest days of their lives were the day they were born and the day they discover why. Which brought me back to the day I was born again, accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. Then a light bulb came on and I discovered my purpose is to serve others and not just myself. Find out why you were born and fulfill your purpose through the word of God. It works!

Yes, report it NevermindNG, I've seen your comments, and wonder what's going on in your life. I find it hard to believe that one could say "I have not received a single blessing since birth", but then again, I don't know your situation or where you're from. Still, I have known folks who are terribly poor, those who have been in constant pain, and those who have known they only have a few months to live, and yet they have praised God for their lives and have a joy that overcomes the hardship. I always marvel at their faith. What would qualify as a blessing for you in your life? Are you connected with a body of believers? Sometimes God blesses others through his people.

Well, I think I can also understand as I also had a miserable time last year, I got broke that I had no friends or anyone to keep my company, mostly alone at home full of thoughts and weeping sometimes, I had negative thoughts towrds God but I try to control my thoughts and kept pretending in my hearth that God will change my sitution (even though I don't really believe things could change) it was so rough that I couldn't figure how to start solving the problems.
But that is just it, when you are worried about to to start having joy then you keep frustrating yourself, just believe and leave God to work, he knew how you got shakkled and he also know how to lose you free.
Like I said last year was almost rough althrough but sonce February this year, I'm a living testimony, since I discovered why I'm created everything had been going on supernaturally splendidly.
I've been working on my spiritual understanding, I love God so much and worship/serve him as I understaand which is my spiritual understanding, I'm not born again but I live my life accordong to God will and I see good results eversince, for me to see God's mercy, you can also see his favor, when it start happening you will be marvelled wen u think of the past sorrows just as me. I own a record label now, though my artist is still upcoming but what we started just few Months back had gotten to where many worked for years for.
