All You Need To Face The World Jun 04 2012
"Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life." - James 1:12
There's an Arab proverb that goes like this: "All sunshine makes for a desert." Have you ever thought of life that way?
All of us want things to go our way all the time, but we have to admit that life doesn't work like that. Hard times come. Relationships are damaged. Financial worries plague us. There are even times of war. Yes, the clouds and the storms really do come.
Jesus said, "In this world, you will have trouble." But the good news is, He didn't stop there. He also said, "Take heart. I have overcome the world." Yes, trouble is a fact of life. But Jesus has given us a means of finding victory--the real victory--even in hard times.
Won't you allow Him to provide all you need to face the good times and the bad? He's willing and able to provide triumph, even when things look the darkest. Put your trust in Jesus Christ.

Yes, report it NevermindJesus promises us victory in times of adversities but in reality what is the use of these promises when there is no tangible help to our problems.
It is just like our earthly parents promise to help us but no tangible help.

Yes, report it NevermindPraise the Lord! Last week the lord enabled me to over come a fear I battle with all my life. I stepped out on the word of God and he delivered me from all the power of the enemy. God gives us blessings for obedience's and I look forward for the day he split the clouds wide open and say, my good and faithful servant, well done!

Yes, report it NevermindNG, it saddens me to know you feel this way. There is help for our problems, we just have to accept the fact that sometimes Gods help may not line up with our wants. He is an on time God and he answers according to his will, even though the troubles continue to happen, but think about it this way, we may have caused the troubles by disobedience ourselves. God could put out His hand and stop the troubles, but if he does this everytime, will we arer learn the lesson that is being shown to us?
Do you remember the lesson that was taught in every science class, for every action, there is a reaction? God may allow the reaction, that our actions call for.
So please don't become discouraged, just continue to put your trust in God, and he will see you through your trials.

I cannot tell you how many Gay Guys I have known in life who have given me some of the Best Advice Ever...They said: "Divorce Her!!!"
My best Childhood friend is Gay...we have known each other for almost 50 Years. His Dad was my Sunday School Teacher. When people say bad things about him and it just makes me Sick.
(He would not put a move on the Ex so she hates him to this day...)
But he gave me some of the best advice about Women and Life I have ever had...
He inherited and makes lots of money--His Favorite Charity? Battered Women and Children's Shelters.
I will love him until the Day I Die--He is My Brother.

Yes, report it NevermindJCO, people who dont believe God exists usually are brilliant people so I feel the need to appeal to that brilliance and ask: if everything you see around you, the sun, the stars, the trees, the wind all have purpose how can you then deny that someone equally brilliant has designed them? can we really believe all this is the product of chance?
My life may not amount to much but that doesn't mean no one cares...
Use your brilliant mind to see things differently, you see the creation, why not the creator?
